This was an absolute gem!

It truly deserves our praise.

Watching it again, I found myself enjoying it just as much as before.

Jung Da Eun (Park Bo Young), a nurse, is transferred to a hospital neuropsychiatry department, facing challenges as she navigates this unfamiliar field. With the support of Chief Nurse Song Hyo Jin, she grows professionally. (I am such a fan of Lee Jung Eun)

Each episode's story drew me in. We connect with new characters, then journey forward. The buildup keeps you hooked throughout.

Stigma around such sicknesses is real and persistent. Not only does the patient have to face and understand what is happening but their support system have their own work to do too. As humans, we react based on how little we understand about these illnesses. The show tries to educate us, simplifying things for viewers. I wonder what an expert would say about how they handled it. I thought it was subtle and profound at the same time.

#Spoileralert: This #kdrama reminds us that anyone can fall ill, and the twist where the nurse becomes the patient powerfully shows how we are all vulnerable and sometimes in denial about needing help. Doctors and nurses are human, choosing a life of service while juggling their own challenges, love lives, and families beyond the hospital walls. There is also the struggle between being a nurse and a doctor: the doctor has all the prestige, yet it is often the nurse who spends more time with patients, developing a good understanding of behaviours and needs, to fight for them to receive the care they deserve.

Honorable mention for  Dong Go Yun's (Yeon Woo-jin with his gorgeous smile)  unwavering devotion as he fights for the woman he loves. That kind of loyalty is something that I looooooooove to see.

10 out of 10 from me !

Watched it on Netflix.
